Programs

We offer two services to communities rebuilding after the 2019 floods: a heat/serve bulk freezer meals program and boxed lunches.

Heat/Serve Freezer Meals

Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and Baked Beans Served Piping Hot (from a Cambro Foodservice Carrier)

Our freezer is stocked with half pans of meals ready for churches and local organizations to heat in their own ovens to serve warm to communities in need. Each half pan is filled with homemade comfort foods that will serve 20-25 adults a generous portion. We also offer fresh baked cakes and muffins from our kitchen for service. Orders must be placed at least a week in advance. You can place an order by emailing our admin team at info@bootsonthegroundmeals.com.

Meal Items Available Include:
Meatloaf
Mashed Potatoes
Bread Pudding
Baked Beans
Sloppy Joes
Pasta Casseroles
Taco Meat

Boxed Lunches

Thousands of boxed lunches have been taken out into the flood zone since the early March 2019.

Boxed lunches are a great way to get a mobile meal out into the flood zones to feed both flood victims and volunteers assisting with cleanup efforts. Each of our lunches comes with fresh fruit, a bagged sandwich, chips and a baked treat. We pack a napkin, pair of disposable gloves, mustard and mayo packets in a separate sealed plastic pouch. Orders must be placed at least a week in advance. You can place an order by emailing our admin team at info@bootsonthegroundmeals.com.
